Taking care of your teeth by regularly brushing and flossing is one of the best ways to prevent a range of dental problems. However, even with healthy oral habits, dental issues can crop up and turn into serious conditions that can endanger the health of your teeth and gums. Here at Dental Implant Associates, we offer a variety of general dentistry options that can help you maintain a fresh, healthy smile.
For more information on general dentistry options, root canal therapy, or treatment for dental emergencies, please contact our Chicago and Oak Lawn, Illinois-area practice.
Our dentists offer a number of family dentistry options to help keep your child’s teeth and gums healthy and prevent problems down the road. With treatments such as tooth-colored fillings, fluoride rinses, dental sealants, and other procedures, we can provide early preventive care and take care of current dental issues. Our entire team here at Dental Implant Associates is made up of compassionate and friendly professionals who understand the anxiety and fear that many children have when they visit the dentist. We will work to make your child’s dental experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
A twice-yearly teeth cleaning from a professional dentist is very important as part of your regular oral hygiene routine. Professional teeth cleanings help to educate you about your oral health, in addition to working toward preventing gum disease and tooth decay. They also give you the chance to talk with your dentist about how you can improve your at-home dental care and maintain healthy teeth and gums. At Dental Implant Associates, we use advanced technology to make professional teeth cleanings as comfortable as possible.
Fluoride treatments are just as important for adults as they were when we were children. Regular fluoride treatments can be very helpful in preventing tooth decay and cavities. We can provide you with a fluoride treatment along with your routine professional teeth cleaning to help you maintain the health of your teeth and gums.
Our team here at Dental Implant Associates understands that dental emergencies can arise at any time. We have a support system in place that can help in the event of a dental emergency caused by trauma or other issues. Please contact our Chicago practice at (774) 449-5037 or our Oak Lawn office at (708) 469-6388 for help if you are experiencing a dental emergency.
Endodontic therapy is the area of dentistry specializing in root canals. Root canals are often necessary for the treatment of teeth affected by severe decay, an infected or inflamed tooth pulp, chips, breaks, injuries, tenderness or swelling near an infected tooth, repeated dental procedures, and other causes. Root canal treatment can ultimately save a tooth. Our practice can provide endodontic treatment on-site, without having to refer you to another office.
For patients with moderate to severe tooth damage, comprehensive restorative dentistry is available at both our Chicago and Oak Lawn, Illinois locations. The goal of restorative dentistry is to improve not only the appearance of the teeth, but their health and function as well. Restorative treatments such as dentures, dental crowns, and dental bridges all aim to reestablish the natural look and feel of your smile. Dental implants and cosmetic dentistry procedures can also be used to complement the restoration of a beautiful smile.
Missing teeth can not only damage the appearance of your smile, but the general health of your mouth as well. The gaps created by missing teeth can diminish your ability to speak, prevent you from eating and enjoying many foods, and lead to further oral health problems. Dentures remain an excellent solution for the problem of missing teeth. Modern dentures are strong and comfortable, and are nearly indistinguishable from natural teeth. Our Oak Lawn and Chicago practices provide custom-made dentures, and our dentists are highly skilled at achieving a proper fit to ensure extra comfort and strength. We also offer a unique, patented denture system – Cliptight® Dentures, created by Dr. Larry Hoffman – which integrates dentures and dental implant technology.
If you would like to know more about custom-fitted dentures, or our Cliptight® system, contact The Dental Implant Associates – Cosmetic Dentistry Centers in Chicago or Oak Lawn, Illinois.
The placement of dental crowns is one of the most common restorative dentistry procedures performed by our Oak Lawn and Chicago, Illinois dentists. When a tooth is cracked, injured, chipped, or badly stained, a crown can be used to repair the damage. Our crowns are made of durable, natural-looking porcelain, which helps them blend naturally with the surrounding teeth. In addition, a dental crown supports the normal function of a damaged tooth while also preventing further injury from occurring.
To find out if you’re a candidate for dental crowns, please schedule an appointment with The Dental Implant Associates – Cosmetic Dentistry Centers right away.
Sometimes our patients need more than just a dental crown to eliminate gaps in their smile, but don’t necessarily want to undergo oral surgery for dental implants. For these patients, we might recommend a dental bridge. A dental bridge uses healthy teeth on either side of the gap to support a pontic, or artificial tooth. Dental bridges can replace a single missing tooth, or several adjacent missing teeth, and are sometimes referred to as fixed partial dentures. The dental bridge procedure usually requires two different sessions with the dentist for preparation and the final placement.
Contact our dentists today to learn more about dental bridges and their benefits.
Our patients often drive from near by cities to seek the expertise of our dentists. For your convenience, we have provided directions to our office from the following locations:
