If you want to have a successful teeth-whitening treatment with Zoom, it’s best to prepare for your visit ahead of time, and our Oradent Associates team is more than happy to help you do so!

We believe that if you know what to expect during your appointment, then you will feel more relaxed, comfortable, and safe in the dental chair. So, to help you prepare for your appointment, we encourage you to expect the following treatment steps:

Step 1: Our welcoming dental team will guide you through our warm office to your comfortable dental chair. Then, your dentist will cover your lips and gums to protect them from the whitening solution.

Step 2: When your lips and gums are covered, your dentist will paint the whitening solution onto the front surfaces of your teeth.

Step 3: Once your teeth are covered with the solution, your dentist will activate the gel with a special light. The light will make the solution penetrate into the teeth and break up the stains and discoloration.

Step 4: The gel is applied and activated for three 15-minute sessions, which will total out to be about 45 minutes. After the treatment is completed, your dentist will apply a sensitivity-reducing fluoride gel to your teeth.
